Pondering My Nothingness...

As I sit down with my nightly glass of wine to calm my racing mind, I continue to think until the alcohol intoxicates me into a dreamless sleep...

Today, what have I done? James woke me up at 10:30 to tell me I have to be a "fucking hen" at the library Saturday. Payment in food. Perfect for those of us on diets... I'll run my heart out Friday and Sunday is what I'll do... We laughed about that for a while and giggled some more about other favorite conversation pieces like the differences between chickens and hens...

I then proceeded to read and finish City of Truth, which was excellent. I have gotten two chapters into Naked and will delve deeper into that realm tonight before I sleep.

Then I got bored and decided to dye my hair after setting up the new computer that had been sitting in that box for six months...

Alright. So my hair is not PURPLE... but it's been dyed kind of an auburn type color... it darkened and highlighted my natural hair color and I like it muchly. As does Boo.

So I stopped by Barnum tonight to drop off Katie's book she left here Saturday and to get teased by Fortner which is always a good laugh (in all sincerity). I got to see everyone and say hi and it was good times... then i stopped by Boo's b/c I was in the neighborhood and we continued our intriguing conversation on the differences between chickens and hens... and something about a hen in a frock.

I just got home after one of our usual talks and laugh sessions. You always need a good one of those. Don't trade your best friend for anybody!!

Look at that, I'm out of wine (In the glass, people.) Tomorrow, or rather today seeing as it's early/late, I'm supposed to be helping with orientation but I don't think I can... It's Grandma's birthday and the family aka Ma, Ro, James, and I are supposed to go out and celebrate. I'm afraid I'll just have to go Thursday.

Happy 100 Grandma... I think I'll still make you a construction paper card even though your not here to read it. The fact you are 100 amazes me... I don't want to get old, but it would sure be fun to see it all...
